On the Vancouver-Bangkok air route, Air Canada charges vary $2348-$3779 minus taxes on Economy Class (flexible) to $3834 to $5727 on an Executive Class flight.
Air France, another leading aviation major operating in Bangkok provides for regular air services between Bangkok and Paris. And on a round-trip ticket charges THB 16,260 to THB 24,347 on an Economy Class ticket. A Business Class round-trip would cost THB 50,685 to THB 61,995 whereas Best Fares to Paris will be THB 30,970 depending upon time and availability of travel.
Air India, the Indian aviation major carries on three services per week on the Mumbai-Bangkok circuit via New Delhi. In addition to, it operates 27 code-sharing flights with Thai Airways. Four of them are between Bangkok - Chennai, four between Bangkok - Bangalore, five between Bangkok - Tokyo while seven are between Bangkok - Shanghai and the same number of flights between Bangkok - Hong Kong.
The popularity of Bangkok and many of Thailand's small resort towns such as Phuket, as global convention and conference centers along with increasing flow of tourists here has ensured that international airlines take notice and factor Bangkok in their strategies for expansion. The presence of increasing number of international airlines vying for code sharing and collaborations on the Bangkok air route is a fair indication of this growing phenomenon.
